Leah O’Shaughnessy

Experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Liverpool Street and Bromley

About me

I believe a empathic, non judgemental, genuine relationship between counsellor and client is a central aspect to a positive therapeutic outcome. This can help with giving space to explore difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences in a safe, contained environment.

I work integratively, meaning I can draw on different theories to suit each individual client, their needs and issues. I know from my own experience of therapy that it takes a lot of courage to take that first step, and I will do my best to make you feel comfortable.

I work with issues around birth trauma, perinatal depression, miscarriage and infant loss. I can also help new or expecting parents deal with the challenging emotions and identity issues that may come up.

I am also a rewind technique practitioner - this can be used for any kind of post traumatic stress. Studies have shown it to be highly effective with a 90% success rate.
