Teja has worked for the NHS for 18 years in and around London. She initially specialised in musculoskeletal conditions and later developed a special interest in women’s and men’s health conditions, while working at The Homerton Hospital. She has worked solely in this field since 2008.
Teja set up and ran the Women’s and Men’s Health (Pelvic Health) service with Central London Community Healthcare Barnet in 2007. This is based at two busy community hospitals and is a thriving service. Teja managed the team of physiotherapists, taking part in regular training and mentoring of staff, within that NHS trust and across North London. Teja is highly experienced in her field and understands the taboo and embarrassment people feel when managing these highly sensitive conditions. It is one of the reasons why she feels so passionate about helping this client group and treats every patient with humility, compassion and discretion.
Teja feels communication is key and her mission is for every patient to leave her room feeling empowered and able to do something about their problem.

- Teja provides high quality and excellent care. I cannot recommend her highly enough for providing me care above and beyond what I expected for my physiotherapy problems. I am very sad she has decided to leave London but wish her all the best in her new endeavours.
